We hope you have an active and meaningful Women's History Month!

As we enter April, we wanted to share some upcoming events to help our endorsed candidates win in June!

To close out Women's History Month, we are proud to welcome our new Women's Caucus Chair, Emmanuelle Ameroso! Emmanuelle heads Hour Children, Inc.’s Working Women Program (HWWP) as the program’s Employment Services Coordinator. HWWP is a comprehensive job training and re-entry program for formerly incarcerated participants.

Prior to coming to Hour Children, Emmanuelle worked for Community Resources for Justice’s Division of Social Justice Services, and at the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision as a Transitional Services Rehabilitation Coordinator. Emmanuelle holds a Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems and Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University at Buffalo. She currently takes courses in Race and Criminal Justice at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice’s Graduate School and has ambitions to obtain her MPA in Criminal Justice Policy and Administration.

Outside of her current position, Emmanuelle enjoys serving her community as a member of the Kings County Democratic County Committee, participating in criminal justice reform and decarceration efforts, and advocating for communities directly impacted by mass incarceration.
