2020 was a wake-up call. Democrats' hold on the House is tenuous as best. Our majority is razor-thin, and the NRCC knows it only needs to flip a HANDFUL of seats to make Kevin McCarthy the speaker of the House. (We're nauseous just thinking about him sitting in the speaker's chair.)
The GOP is practically giddy with excitement over the prospect of removing Nancy Pelosi, taking control of the House, and halting Biden's progressive agenda in its tracks.
What's more, far-right extremist Marjorie Taylor Greene would get untold power, with prominent committee appointments and a new pulpit to spew her hate -- and maybe even impeach Biden like she promised.
This future may seem unimaginable, but it's the fate that awaits us if we don't fight like hell to keep our House majority and sweep the GOP out. We need 2022 to be a barnburner of an election where we win seats we didn't even think were winnable.
To do that, When Democrats Turn Out has created the HouseKeeping Fund -- our sister fund to the Secure the Senate Fund. With this fund, we'll target at-risk Democrats in the House to shore up their support, educate voters, and dunk on the GOP so that they are dumbfounded at how they lost so badly in November 2022.
