Hi Friend,
Join me in conversation with Gottmik for a special Transgender Day of Visibility Instagram Live this Wednesday, March 31 at 3 p.m. ET / noon PT. If you don’t know them already, Gottmik is the first trans man to compete on RuPaul's Drag Race, and we’re excited to talk about how we can all support transgender and nonbinary youth.

Together, we’ll discuss:
* Gottmik’s incredible personal story and the journey to RuPaul’s Drag Race
* The difference between gender expression and gender identity, and the many ways we can all express ourselves
* How we can foster gender-affirming and supportive spaces for transgender and nonbinary youth
* The Trevor Project’s resources to support LGBTQ youth mental health

We also recognize that supporting and honoring trans and nonbinary youth should be an ongoing focus, extending far beyond Trans Day of Visibility. Regular and thoughtful actions like educating yourself about the nuances of sex and gender, and respecting the language that people use to self-identify can have tremendous positive effects on the mental health of trans and nonbinary youth.

Thank you for celebrating Transgender Day of Visibility with us, and for supporting LGBTQ youth.
