Glacier Conversations 40 Years of Wolf Recovery in Montana with Dr. Diane Boyd
You're invited to attend the next event in our monthly series, Glacier Conversations! Each month the Glacier Conservancy will host a curated, interactive conversation on Zoom with a guest who has a special connection to Glacier or the greater outdoors.
Next month, Dr. Diane Boyd will talk about her work in wolf recovery from the first wolf to return to Montana in 1979 to the present population of approximately 850 wolves. This very successful recovery has had many bumps in the road, but wolves are resilient and here to stay.
The Zoom event will be on Wednesday, April 14 at 6:30PM MDT. Registration is limited to encourage a conversational size group, so please click the link below to get started!
Diane Boyd has worked with wolves for more than 40 years. She retired from Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks in December 2019, as the Wolf Specialist for northwestern Montana and now pursues other conservation avenues.
You could win an awesome prize!
We will be giving away our brand NEW 2021 Glacier shirt to one lucky winner the night of the event! This forest green Glacier wolf tee is part of our annual wildlife series and was designed exclusively for the Glacier Conservancy by our friends at Wild Tribute. You must be present on Zoom to be entered to win. We will randomly draw a name and announce the winner toward the end of the event.
