The Southern Strategy is dedicated to the engagement of new and unlikely voters, young, and women voters — voters at the heart of the emerging Democratic coalition across the South and in states and districts where the greatest barrier to electoral success is sufficient and sustained financial investment. We need to get to work, team.

The Southern Strategy is mobilizing like never before in the South.

Why?

Because if Georgia showed us one thing last year, it’s that if we put in the time, effort, and resources into ‘red’ states: there’s no such thing as red states. We are also learning that the GOP will stop at nothing to destroy our democracy. Stacey Abrams is fired up and so are we.

We’re ready to hit the ground running, and that’s why we’ve set an end of quarter fundraising goal of $40,000. If you’re with us, chip in now >>

Despite all the bad headlines coming out of the South — voter suppression laws, anti-mask mandates, natural disasters, state legislators getting arrested — we’re not giving up. Each headline is just further proof of the need to invest in Southern states.

And that’s why we are going bigger: We’re planning to Stacey Abrams (verb) every Southern state.

That means:
  • Registering voters
  • Providing rides to the polls
  • Making it as difficult as possible for Republicans to suppress voters
To fight back against the GOP’s voter suppression tactics in the South, we need to invest NOW. Donate to The Southern Strategy before our March 31st deadline to support our efforts in the South >>
