As we begin the Passover holiday this Saturday night, let me take this moment to reflect on the resiliency of all New Yorkers, and all Americans, that have risen to the challenges of the past year.
Elie Wiesel said: "Just as despair can come to one only from other human beings, hope, too, can be given to one only by other human beings."
Hope is the central and essential message of Passover. We hope for a better tomorrow, together with our family and community.
As Jews sit around the Passover Seder table and seek the blessings of hope and freedom, may we all be blessed with the same.
