Marjorie Taylor-Greene's brand of politics has always been disruption and trolling with racist and bigoted undertones. But her most recent act of "leadership" is an embarrassment to her home state and her district.

Joined by 12 of her Sedition Caucus allies, including Matt Gaetz and Lauren Boebert, Taylor-Greene refused to sign onto a House Resolution honoring the brave men and women who weathered the storm of radical Trump supporters assaulting the Capitol in January. This behavior leads into the next Big Lie — that the Capitol Insurrection was not a violent attempt to overturn an election, and that the mobs that overran the House and Senate chambers were instigators planted by Antifa and Black Lives Matter.

This attempt to whitewash the sins of every Republican official who for months incited and encouraged the horror we witnessed is utterly shameless. Unfortunately for Georgians, it is only one of the many nonsensical actions Marjorie Taylor-Greene has taken in our name. We must vote her out in 2022 before she can do even more damage to our state's reputation and to our democracy.

Despite what you may have heard, there is a path to victory in Marjorie Taylor-Greene's district. Democrats see it, which is why candidates are jumping in the ring tot ake on the seditious Trump loyalist. We can't win without a solid strategy for reaching voters in her mostly rural district. The good news is, Georgia Blue Project has that strategy. the bad news — we still need so much more funding to make it effective enough to deal a staggering blow to Taylor-Greene's re-election hopes.
