Herro John,

We're patiently waiting on you to sign Ted's birthday card and welcome him to the "elder" millennial club (whatever that means).

SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY

We made sure he felt loved on this special day with lots of kisses this morning and are now waiting for treats. Maybe if you sign his birthday card he will give us treats.

10/10 we are very good puppers.

Subject: Ted's birthday is tomorrow!

Ted for DeKalb

Hi, John -- Andrea here (Ted's partner),

Today is Ted’s 38th birthday! Help me wish him a happy birthday by signing this birthday card!

Even though he is officially an “elder millennial” he is still the only millennial to be elected to the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners.

Ted has always lifted me to new heights, whether it was encouraging me to run for office, or literally lifting me up to pick apples in Gilmer County north Georgia.

It’s hard to believe, but this is the second year we have had a “COVID birthday” for Ted - and that can make it hard to feel like celebrating. I want to make sure that even though we can’t get together with friends, Ted knows he is loved.

John, will you share a birthday message with Ted right now?

SAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY

He has spent the last 20 years as an activist, advocate and public servant always focused on challenging the status quo, pushing forward progressive policies, and uplifting the voices of working families.

Let’s make sure he knows how important his efforts to move DeKalb forward are.

Help me surprise Ted tomorrow by wishing him and a special welcome to the “elder” millennial club. Leave a comment, Ted will get every one!

- Andrea
