Today is Equal Pay Day — a day that signifies how far into the year women must work to earn what men earned in the previous year.
Right now, women make roughly 80% of what men do — and for women of color, this gap is even greater!
Congress has the opportunity to close this wage gap by passing the Paycheck Fairness Act, and we must put pressure on our leaders right now to take action.
