As of September 30, 2020, the larger U.S. carrier
industry began to more strictly
enforce their policies and guidelines across the entire Application-to-Person
(A2P) messaging ecosystem. According to the CTIA definition
of A2P messaging, political messaging is classified as A2P and
subject to A2P policies and guidelines.
During
this webinar, Bill Raney of Copilevitz, Lam & Raney, will walk through the
new A2P standard 10-digit long code requirements from AT&T, discuss why mobile
providers are able to freely block text messages and share best practices to avoid text message blocking.
