When Donald Trump took office, you marched, organized, and donated money to fight back against his horrific policies. It was exhausting—and worth it. You helped flip the House, the Senate, and the White House and changed our country for the better.

But we can’t stop now. All of that time, energy, and money will mean little if Republicans take back Congress next year. They will roll back progress on voting rights, affordable health care, climate change and so much more. Everything we stand for as Democrats is on the line in 2022.

History tells us that the party in power usually suffers major losses in the midterm elections, and redistricting in Republican-held states will make things even harder. Your activism has shown everyone that you aren’t afraid of hard work.

I don’t want to send you emails saying “the sky is falling” if you don’t contribute, but I do want to make sure everyone understands just how much is at stake next year, and the consequences of inaction.

Democrats must win in rural areas to keep the majority and enact the progressive change we need, which is why I started BACKROADS PAC. Will you keep making a difference by contributing any amount to support our efforts today?
