It's been 75 DAYS since far-right extremists stormed our Capitol, leaving several dead, and Congress has only JUST gotten a framework together to investigate the devastating attack.

The reason? House Republicans have been intransigent in arguing over the details of the panel, demanding extra representation and trying to limit the scope of what topics and people are on the table.

And the kicker? "A majority of the Republican appointees, including the new members, voted against certifying some of the 2020 election results, even after a violent mob of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol," POLITICO reports.

Would the GOP sabotage Congress' own investigation in order to hide their culpability in what happened on January 6? We wouldn't put it past them.

That's why we have to make it clear that the American people are united in demanding an impartial, thorough inquiry into what happened. If we don't stand up for this now, there's no telling what the Republicans will be able to get away with.
