Hello Family, Friends, and Neighbors!
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
This is my first congressional campaign. And I’ve learned a hard truth about national politics: money matters more than it should—especially at the end of a quarter.
The career politicians and campaign operatives in DC won’t take us seriously unless we put up a big fundraising number by the end of September. And I hate to say it, but we’re falling short.
We need 100 new donors by the end of the month to stay on-track.
I’m up against a career politician who spends hours upon hours calling rich friends and asking for big checks. I don’t have those connections, I don’t have a trust fund, but I have supporters like you.
Trust me, I really don’t like doing this. But it’s the only way Rural Coloradans get a voice in Congress—someone who will make sure we stop getting cut out at the negotiating table. Rural is all I know, and that’s why I won’t forget the values I was raised with when I’m representing you in DC.
Will you donate today to support my agenda for capping prescription drug prices, passing full-day Kindergarten nationwide, and forcing Congress to focus on Rural America?
