Monday, the LEFT is at it again! Nancy Pelosi is trying to reject the will of Iowa voters by overturning the election results and seating Democrat Rita Hart. The votes for Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks were counted, recounted, and certified! Senator Joni Ernst tells FOX News that it’s 'horribly unfair' to Iowans.
Tuesday, Rep. Ashley Hinson (IA-01) continues to lead the push to reopen schools. Her bill, the Reopen Schools Act, creates a comprehensive plan that will quickly and safely get teachers and students back in the classrooms.
"A year into this pandemic, students and working families are in crisis— schools across the country have to follow Iowa’s lead and reopen safely."
Wednesday, the GOP holds Biden Administration accountable for ‘unlawful’ border actions. “Over the past several weeks, the Biden administration has seen an increase of unaccompanied migrant children to the border and has struggled to quickly move the children from short-term holding facilities to temporary facilities."
Thursday, a true trailblazer! Rep. Nancy Mace (SC-01) forms ‘Single Parents’ caucus. This could be the first caucus of its kind in congressional history.
“It was tough enough being a single parent before the pandemic. Now, just tack on the issues and challenges that this pandemic has exposed: virtual school, child-care costs, mental health,” she said, ticking off issues one by one. “I feel the pain. I know the struggle.”

Bloomberg: Would Biden’s Tax Hike Really Spare the Middle Class? Nope. President Joe Biden is reportedly considering the first major tax increase in several decades. It won’t be clear whether higher taxes are worth paying until more is known about the spending programs they would finance.
Reuters: U.S. House approves small business Paycheck Protection Program extension to May 31. The program, launched a year ago as part of a major COVID-19 aid bill, set loans for small businesses such as restaurants that were struggling as the United States went into a lockdown in an attempt to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Fox News: McConnell, McCarthy accuse Pelosi of trying to 'steal,' 'overturn' GOP election victory in Iowa. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks defeated Democrat Rita Hart by just six votes out of nearly 400,000 cast to represent Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District, which covers most of the southeastern part of the Hawkeye State. It was the closest margin of any U.S. election in nearly half a century.
