H.R. 8, to require background checks on all gun sales, and H.R.
1446, to address the Charleston loophole which has allowed gun sales
to proceed without a completed background check after 3 business
days.

THEN, Senate Democrats announced plans for a floor vote on gun
safety legislation!

NOW, we have a chance to pass the first significant change to
U.S. gun policy in over 25 years.

ignored in Mitch McConnell's legislative graveyard for OVER A
YEAR.

THIS is the power of a gun safety majority in Congress,
team. Because we were able to flip the Senate, gun
safety legislation is finally getting the attention it deserves!

But Democrats in the House and Senate are already gearing up
for tough re-election fights. With extremely thin margins in both
chambers, we can't afford to lose a SINGLE seat in 2022 - or
Republicans will turn around and undo all the progress we've
made.
