While we all breathed a sigh of relief after Joe Biden won the election, and again when Democrats won their Senate races in Georgia, it hasn’t been all good news for Democrats lately.

Last year, Republicans flipped 15 seats in the House, with 13 of them in rural or semi-rural districts. In 2022, they just need to flip five more to take back the majority.

The GOP is completely focused on regaining control of the House. So far, national Republicans have outraised Democrats, and history tells us that they are likely to gain seats next year. If that happens, the progress we worked so hard for is over. Voting rights, reproductive rights, and so much more are at risk.

I’m not using hyperbole to raise money here. This threat is very real, and Republicans will take back the majority if we don’t act now.
