Hi All!

First, a reminder that there's NO Bread and Roses meeting tonight. We
aren't taking a break, just taking a break from meeting this week. We'll
see you next Monday at 7 PM as usual.

Second, the Elizabeth Freeman Center is hosting a virtual county-wide read
of "Stop Telling Women to Smile: How We're Taking Back Our Power" by
Tatyana Fazlalizadeh in April to mark Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
(Flyer attached). Please fill out this form if you would like to
participate. <[link removed]> Dates and times will be
announced soon. To learn more about the book, visit
[link removed] If you can't afford a copy, one will be
provided for you.

Third, here are some things that are happening this week:

*Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 16th at 7 PM*, Beth Huang from Boston DSA will
join us for a special meeting on *how to do power mapping*, with a focus on
public transportation in Berkshire County. Power mapping is a way of
parsing out the power dynamics underlying a problem so that clear goals,
strategies, allies, and opponents are identifiable. *Please email us for
the link*. Bonus if you know a lot about Berkshire county public
transportation! The more info, the better! If not, that's ok, too. Power
mapping is an effective strategy in any social justice action.

*Wednesday, March 17th at 6 PM,* *Take Back the Grid* is meeting to discuss
the Utility Relief for all Campaign. *Please email us for the link.*

*Thursday, March 18th at 6 PM, Berkshire DSA Reading Group. *We'll be
discussing the first chapter of "Freedom Is A Constant Struggle" by Angela
Davis. You can find a link to that and other texts here for free.

A summary will be provided for those who didn't have time to read.
