Since you’ve stuck with us all the way, we want you to be one of the first to know the exciting news: Thanks to your support, Dianne was able to meet the threshold to qualify for NYC’s public matching funds program!

Our average donation over this filing period was just $47, and nearly one-third of Dianne’s donors are unemployed. That’s a humbling reminder that everyday New Yorkers are ready to radically reimagine what our city can be — and we owe it to them to continue fighting for those whose voices have so often been ignored.

We’re fighting for a city where every New Yorker has quality housing, jobs, education, healthcare and transportation; where communities have a real say in their governance; and where we lift others as we climb, not only because it’s the right thing to do, but because our entire city is better off when we take care of one another.

What’s next for Team Dianne:

Qualifying for matching funds means we’re going to be able to expand our organizing power so we can reach more voters throughout the city and spread Dianne’s message of dignity, hope and solidarity. That means ramping up our voter outreach efforts, educating New Yorkers about ranked-choice voting and organizing to Get Out the Vote for Dianne on June 22.

We’re also in the middle of petitioning! Petitioning is the process of getting a candidate on the ballot in June. We have to collect thousands of signatures from NYC Democrats in order to make sure Dianne’s name will be on the ballot come Primary Day. Want to sign our petition? Find the schedule here.
