Hi friend,
Iowa GOP Senator Chuck Grassley has been making excuses for years -- and we finally have a chance to unseat him.
Grassley made every excuse in the book as chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee when he refused to give Merrick Garland a confirmation hearing for the Supreme Court -- never mind hypocritically admitting to Garland during his recent hearings for attorney general that “I like you, I respect you, and I think you're a good pick for this job.”
He bent over backward to justify his twisted logic in refusing to convict Donald Trump after the Capitol insurrection, saying that “others share the blame in polluting our political discourse with inflammatory and divisive language.”
Why are we focusing on Grassley specifically? Because we have a real shot at stopping his re-election campaign before it even begins. Des Moines 8 reports that Grassley just submitted his “Statement of Candidacy for the 2022 election with the Federal Election Commission” -- which gives us a chance to stop him early.
We're in the perfect position to get ahead, right now. But we need to raise another $5,023 TONIGHT for our communications budget if we're going to unseat this seven-term Trump-aligned incumbent once and for all.
We know defeating incumbents is possible -- you helped us do it in Georgia when we took on Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue. The best way to extend Grassley the same courtesy? Giving, right now, to launch ads against this Republican crony, reach voters with our message, register more Democrats, and expand our coalition to Defeat the Fascist Fourteen.

The only way to defeat a powerful establishment incumbent like Chuck Grassley is an overwhelming grassroots punch. We need to reach voters, spread our message about Grassley's betrayals in Congress, and build the coalition to unseat him next year.
Thank you for doing your part to help us reach our goals and throw ALL our resources into unseating every single one of Trump's senators.
