The filibuster is standing in the way of moving meaningful legislation that would change and save lives. With H.R. 1 heading to the Senate -- a bill to make voter registration automatic, end partisan gerrymandering, strengthen campaign-finance law, and increase oversight of lobbyists -- it's more important now than ever to FINALLY abolish the filibuster.

But look, as long as Republicans can filibuster in the Senate, we will never see an end to gerrymandering, people of color will continue to have their voting rights diminished, health care costs will continue to rise, and the earth will continue to get warmer with no considerable action for us to stop it. Mitch McConnell is in the MINORITY and still calling the shots because of the filibuster.

And Senate Democrats are split on the issue -- but here is the good news. After spending the 2020 cycle funding the Democrats who make our majorities in both houses, we're prepared to call on them to do the right thing and abolish the filibuster. But we need you to make it happen.

Our fundraising numbers are DANGEROUSLY low this week, and if we don't hit our goal, this is one of the projects that might have to be on the chopping block. We need to raise $2,720 by MIDNIGHT to get this program off the ground and abolish the filibuster. Can you chip in $5, $10, $25 or whatever you can now?
