D.C. statehood will give us the chance to enshrine progressive values in our country like we've never been able to do before. We can fast track voting rights protections, green initiatives, health care expansion, abortion access, economic reforms -- and that's only the begining.
The kicker?
We need every Senate Democrat on board to make this progressive dream a reality, and right now, there are 4 Democratic Senators who haven't yet announced their support for D.C. statehood -- Kyrsten Sinema, Angus King, Mark Kelly, and Joe Manchin. We're thinking it's high time to get them on board to expand our Senate majority so our country can move forward.
Unfortunately, these senators will only change their mind on expanding our majority if we can muster enough grassroots support to make an impact, so we're hoping you'll step up like you always do and make your voice heard right now.
