There’s promising momentum in Congress to improve our democracy. Just last week the House of Representatives passed the For the People Act, a sweeping set of reforms to limit the influence of big money in politics, crack down on gerrymandering, expand access to voting, and begin to address the online disinformation crisis fueled by conspiracy theories, lies, and political deceit.

We must keep the pressure on lawmakers to protect our democracy.  That’s why we wanted to give you an advance heads up to be on the lookout for a big announcement from us next week. We’ve been preparing to expand our work fighting online political deception and we’re excited to be able to share more details with you soon.
