While cannabis continues to be an economic driver of white wealthy entrepreneurs and corporations, Black and Brown New Yorkers are still subject to profiling, arrests and adjudication for possession of cannabis.
Dianne is committed to being the first Mayor of NYC to not only confront this disparity, but to ensure those most impacted by the legal system aren’t prevented from thriving within the industry, which is why cannabis justice will play an important role in her Green policies.
