Texans across the state are relying on support from local food banks to get the water and food they need to survive. The water crisis in Texas is disproportionately hurting low-income, elderly, and marginalized communities. Apartment buildings are struggling to repair burst pipes, and tenants are relying on the goodwill of food banks and volunteers to put food on their tables and clean water in their homes.
