John
When this POLITICO article dropped, the Retire Rubio group chat went absolutely nuts – and here's why:

"In a hypothetical three-way primary for president, DeSantis gets 64 percent support compared to 12 percent for Rubio and 10 percent for Scott, according to Fabrizio’s survey, which was conducted last week for a private client and shared with POLITICO.
That 52-point lead over Rubio represents a massive increase since July – the last time Fabrizio polled a matchup between the three and found DeSantis ahead by just 11 points over Rubio."
And, John, I'll tell you what I said in the group message: Minus anyone with the last name "Trump," the only person – and I use the term "person" loosely – who could compete with DeSantis in a primary would be Matt Gaetz.
Yikes, Marco.
With polling like that, we can't imagine that Liddle Marco would be willing to leave his warm, cozy U.S. Senate seat vulnerable to focus his time and resources on a failed Presidential run (again).
We need to stay on task. He's got no upward mobility anywhere except the U.S. Senate. The last thing we need is do-nothing Marco occupying that seat for another term -- let alone in a leadership position.
Help us build the movement and maintain the necessary momentum to retire Rubio: chip in $7.00 ahead of our end-of-month fundraising deadline. [[link removed]]
