When President Biden was on the campaign trail, he ran on a promise to listen to the scientists when it came to managing the country’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, it seems that President Biden has forgotten that promise and directed his staff to listen to lobbyists instead.

Despite the CDC advising that it is safe to send children back to the classroom, the administration is not listening to these recommendations. Recently, the new Director of CDC admitted that their new guidance was published only after “direct changes were made as a result of” conversations with lobbyists for the teachers’ unions.

That sounds like the administration is putting politics ahead of science and putting American kids behind. That is not leadership, John.

Here in Oklahoma, Governor Stitt knows that our children should not be the rope used in a tug of war between the teachers’ unions and parents desperate to have their children back in the classroom. JOIN TEAM STITT [link removed]

As he said in his annual State of the State Address, Governor Stitt has promised to follow the data and get Oklahoma back on track, which has resulted in the Sooner State being months ahead of others as we work to get Oklahoma back on track.
