We have a problem — Republicans are hell-bent on winning the midterm elections. And we can’t afford to take it lightly.

The National Republican Congressional Committee just announced a list of 47 House Democratic incumbents being targeted for 2022, including:

• Twenty-nine districts that either did not back President Joe Biden or supported their House incumbent by 5 points or less.
• Eight Democrats who won by less than 10 points and underperformed Biden.
• Ten members that face redistricting trouble next year.

In short — If we don’t keep our eye on the ball, we’ll risk losing both chambers of Congress next year. It’s time to gear up and fight back. Republicans know that our Democratic majorities are slim. We may have won the House, Senate, and White House in 2020, but we didn’t gain enough ground to stay comfortable — House Democrats still lost a net of 11 seats (13 being incumbents).

And with a razor-thin Senate majority, 2022 can go either way. That’s why it’s imperative that we step in now, and start gearing up for one of the most critical election years in history.
