Congratulations to Tennessee's 40 Under 40 Award Winners
The Tennessee Action Coalition, Tennessee Nurses Association, and Tennessee Hospital Association congratulate the state’s newly named 40 Under 40 nurse leaders. The program encourages those who have already stood out in their work to continue to lead the way. This year’s cohort represents a range of regions, practice settings, and specialties.
Join Us for the Future of Nursing: Passion, Purpose, and Progress
Plan to attend this week’s Campaign for Action
event, open to all who care about the nation’s health. The February 24 meeting sets the stage for the National Academy of Medicine’s forthcoming report on nursing for the next decade, and honors the contributions of nursing during this extraordinary time. Presenters include leaders from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, AARP Foundation, and the
Campaign.
AARP Purpose Prize, Community Challenge Open to Applicants
One program is for entrepreneurs 50 and over who are using their wealth of experience to improve the world. One program is for the innovators applying ideas to change communities in ways large and small. Both AARP’s Purpose Prize and its Community Challenge, with deadlines in late March and in April, are now accepting applications.
Every community welcomes leadership, and now’s the time to get involved: AARP and the Nurses on Boards Coalition seek nurses to represent AARP on community boards working to improve patient care, support family caregivers, build healthier communities and advocate for policies that lead to better health and well-being.
