In just the 45 days since Georgia flipped the Senate by electing Sen. Jon Ossoff and I, so much history has already been written.

But I'll be honest with you, it’s not all great.

Our historic victory down in Georgia was a bright spot. But sadly, it was short-lived when the very next day armed insurrectionists -- incited to violence by Donald Trump -- stormed the Capitol in an assault on our democratic institutions and our democratic elections.

There’s no telling what the Republican Party will do in this next election, especially since they got Trump off scot-free after what he did in this last one.

What I do know is that we can’t afford to elect people who will divide us.

Look, the People of Georgia took a stand in this last election. A stand against greed and bigotry, against corruption and white supremacy.

And in this next election, we’ll show them that our movement for health, jobs, and justice has only grown stronger.

But they’re going to come at us with everything they’ve got. In this last election, they spent millions upon millions to attack me, my faith, and my church -- and I’m sure they’ll do it again.
