Dear?John,

Today it was revealed in The Telegraph that our local NHS is in line to receive millions of pounds of investment.

This funding will allow the NHS to refurbish the older parts of St Helier and Epsom Hospitals, recruit more staff and build a brand new acute health facility for the sickest patients.

This is absolutely fantastic news,?John!

Local residents, Lib Dem Councillors and I have been fighting for over 20 years to protect St Helier Hospital and secure the vital funding it desperately needs.

A few years ago we successfully stopped the closure of our hospital's A&E and Maternity units. Now, following this announcement, we're one step closer to securing that incredibly important investment!

I am so pleased,?John -- but I would be lying if I said I wasn't apprehensive.

This wouldn't be the first time a Tory Government has promised lots of money for St Helier and then ended up backtracking.

So I'm going to keep fighting -- and I won't stop fighting until St Helier Hospital has the funding it deserves.

John -- will you stand with me? Add your name now:

And will you help share this breaking news on social media so we can let as many people know as possible?

All in all, this is a fantastic leap forward for our campaign.

But we need to keep the pressure up, hold the Government to their promise and continue to stand up for our hospital.

Best wishes,

PS. I'm in close contact with the NHS and hospital bosses and I will, of course, continue to keep you and other residents updated.
