Team,
Donald Trump is guilty of inciting an attack on the Capitol to destroy our democracy and steal the election. Period.
The House impeachment managers presented an airtight case. Mitch McConnell even admitted it, saying: "Former President Trump's actions preceding the riot were a disgraceful dereliction of duty." But he still voted to acquit him?
Why? Because he — and the rest of the GOP Senators who voted to acquit Trump — care about nothing. Not you. Not me. Certainly not our democracy.
As The Dude would say, this aggression will not stand, man.
This was not a complicated case. There were not, you know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-yous.
Our Capitol was ransacked by a mob of white supremacists and conspiracy theorists calling for the execution of lawmakers doing their jobs. Yet 43 GOP Senators refused to do their job and hold Trump accountable. Thanks to them, this can happen again.
It’s up to us to show them that this will not stand. We must start organizing now to flip vulnerable red seats and hold our Democratic majority in the House and the Senate in 2022. We cannot afford to lose any ground. Pitch in $22 or what you can afford now >>>
Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz, and Josh Hawley think they can get away with trying to destroy free and fair elections. Well, we’ve got news for them:
This is bowling America. There are rules.
