Breaking News: Background checks expected to be introduced in the House as early as next month
Friends — our hard work is finally paying off.
President Biden has pledged that his administration would take action on gun safety and has called upon Congress to pass safer gun laws.
The House is planning on reintroducing the same universal background checks legislation that passed the House in 2019. It sat untouched on Mitch McConnell’s desk in the Senate, but now we have the majority and a chance to finally get this done.

Right now, we have the chance to right the wrongs of the last administration and Mitch McConnell’s blockade of our efforts. Over 90% of Americans support universal background checks and it’s time that our voices are heard.
When lives are at stake, we can’t risk taking more time. It’s on us to take immediate action to prevent gun violence. With your help we can get this legislation passed when it’s introduced in the House and Senate.
