As more and more of Donald Trump's corrupt abuse of power becomes publicly known, Roger Williams continues to show us that he would rather choose party over country, and choose Trump over Texas.  

Our district -- and our country -- have real challenges to solve.

We're facing a healthcare affordability crisis due to unchecked greed and a Congressman too checked out to stand up to the for-profit insurance and pharmaceutical lobby harming his own constituents.

Four of the 10 deadliest mass shootings in history have been right here in Texas, where Roger Williams enjoys an A rating from the NRA.

And even though we're facing the crisis of a burning planet, Texas is in a unique position to lead as we transition to a clean energy economy -- a transition that will create millions of good-paying jobs and supercharge our economy.

We need real leadership that reflects the spirit and concerns of our people -- and we need it badly. That leadership does not reside with one person, but the genius of our representative democracy is that we can elect someone whose job it is to fight for and with the people of their district, listen to them and let their ideas inform policy decisions, to stick up for our most fundamental values of humanity and decency, and to defend the Constitution.

My role as Finance Director is to ensure that we're staying on track to hit our financial goals and run the best campaign we can.

But I'm also a constituent of District 25, and I can tell you -- as so many of my other fellow constituents know -- District 25 is sorely in need of real representation.

We need Julie in our seat, fighting with us.
