Impeachment managers laid out damning, chilling, and overwhelming evidence of Trump’s efforts to destroy our democracy. It’s all there — clear as day. But Senate Republicans didn’t bother to watch or listen to any of it. Instead:

Sen. Josh Hawley hid in the Senate gallery, focused on paperwork, and had his feet up on a chair.
Ted Cruz tweeted about “breast milk” while Rand Paul went after Rep. Jamie Raskin on Twitter.
Rick Scott read a magazine and doodled on a map of Southeast Asia.
Richard Burr left the chamber to get himself a glass of milk.
Lindsey Graham went on Fox News to blame Nancy Pelosi for failing to stop the violent insurrection.

The party of so-called “law and order” is a farce. They will forever be the party of Trump and sedition. That’s why it’s critical that we do everything in our power to make sure these cultists never regain control of the House and Senate.
