John –
While many are celebrating their loved ones today, our hearts are heavy. Three years ago today, a madman marched into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and killed 17 innocent people and injured 17 others with an AR-15 rifle.

To this day, the tragedy in Parkland, Florida is one of the worst school shootings our country has seen.
And yet, no justice has been served. The gunman’s trial holds in limbo. The Senators of Florida have done nothing to enact gun safety measures. One even looked the survivors in the face while refusing to denounce NRA campaign contributions.
We have work to do. Today and every day, we’ll continue fighting for justice until the most vulnerable, critical members of our society – our children, our educators – are safe.
In loving memory of those we lost,
