Even with a growing heap of evidence demonstrating Donald Trump's key role in inciting the attack on the U.S. Capitol, he still thinks he can fool the American people.

Trump's defense attorneys are saying Trump was "horrified" at the attack on the U.S. Capitol. They say it is "absolutely not true" that Trump failed to act swiftly to quell the riot.

Trump, his loyalists, and the GOP think we can be lied to -- but we all remember exactly what Trump had to say on January 6: that he and his mob "will never give up."

The GOP wants us to move on but we know that a clear attack on our democracy is too grave an issue to sweep under the rug. That's why we're asking engaged supporters like you to let us know what you're thinking as the trial goes on:
