Have you been watching the Senate impeachment trial unfold?

If you have, you probably know that Rep. Jamie Raskin, the Democrats' head impeachment manager, has been making a compelling -- and personal -- case for Trump's conviction.

Here's an MSNBC op-ed's description of Raskin's most emotionally charged moment from Tuesday, which followed the presentation of a video montage of the riot:

"Raskin shared how his 24-year-old daughter, who had joined him at the Capitol that day, feared for her life as she and her husband cowered under a desk. 'I told her how sorry I was,' Raskin recalled. 'And I promised her it would not be like this again the next time she came back to the Capitol. And you know what she said?' he asked, choking back tears. 'She said, "Dad, I don't want to come back to the Capitol.'"

Jamie Raskin is fighting hard through the weight of immense emotional trauma on behalf of us all who want to see Trump held accountable for his actions -- and we need to make it clear that he has the American people in his corner.
