Along with other executive orders on immigration, President Biden has directed the Department of Homeland Security to review deportations of veterans and military families that occurred under Trump’s presidency.
Under Trump, many families that have served our country have been forced to separate in often tragic fashion — deportations are a common occurrence that members of the military and their family members fear.
Do you support President Biden’s move to review military deportations and facilitate naturalization for members of the military, in an effort to reunite families?
There are thousands of service members serving our nation while seeking citizenship. Trump led with a zero tolerance policy — President Biden now has the chance to advocate for our immigrant service members by helping families stay intact.
With this executive order, many families will have the chance to reunite with their spouses and children.
