Joe Biden has a grim view of Trump's impeachment trial. According to ABC News, the president conceded that “It's probably not likely to get 17 Republicans to change their view and convict an impeachment.”
Many Republicans -- and even some Democrats -- are saying it's a waste of time to hold an impeachment trial at all, since the GOP has shamefully made acquittal a given. But according to President Biden, it would be “farcical” to not give this trial its full weight, because “it's important that there be certain basic standards, that people at least are able to see what happened to make their own judgements.”
You know that a trial is the bare minimum that Trump deserves -- even if the GOP would say otherwise. Please, make your voice heard and tell us:
