The second day of the historic second impeachment trial of Donald Trump just concluded — we would be hard pressed to find an argument more solid than the one the House Impeachment Managers have brought before the U.S. Senate.
Yet, Senate Republicans are primed for acquittal. Why? Because the GOP, from the Senate to the House of Representatives, is full of seditious cowards who would rather protect their political fortunes and their own seats in government than stand up for what is the morally correct choice — to convict Donald Trump.
In Georgia, we can't do much about Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Ron Johnson, and the other ReTrumplicans who continue to protect him. But we can do something about those Georgia congresspersons who not only want to give Trump a pass for January 6th, but encouraged the violence and mayhem of that infamous day.
