safety
of
immigrants,
attorneys,
and
court
staff.

Immigration
and
Customs
Enforcement
is
responsible
for
allowing
COVID-19
to
spread
inside
its
detention
centers.

restrictions
continue
to
keep
the
number
of
visas
granted
25
percent
below
the
norm.

The
number
of
people
sent
to
immigration
detention
after
being
arrested
has
reached
75
percent
of
pre-pandemic
levels.

20,000
people
have
a
pending
Migrant
Protection
Protocols
case
and
either
remain
in
Mexico,
in
a
dangerous
state
of
limbo,
or
have
given
up
and
returned
to
their
home
country.
