Molly, who lives in St. Paul, has multiple autoimmune diseases. Despite going to great lengths, she struggles to access the prescription drugs she needs to be well. 

“I have requested coupons from manufacturers, used savings programs from third parties, switched pharmacies multiple times a year, used inferior medication, and have even rationed medication when I knew I would run out. Something needs to change.” 

Email your legislators now. Tell them to support the Prescription Drug Affordability Board bill (H.F. 801), which will set limits on what pharmaceutical corporations can charge for lifesaving medicines. Customize your message for maximum impact. 

Molly is not alone. New data from Altarum shows that 1 in 5 Minnesotans (21%) across the state had to ration a medicine prescribed by their doctor in the past 12 months. 

Tell your legislators we need a Prescription Drug Affordability Board (H.F. 801) to rein in out-of-control costs. Be sure to customize your message to make it memorable. 

The will of the people is clear. From St. Paul to Red Lake, to Hibbing and Willmar, 89% of Minnesotans agree: it’s time for our government to ensure medicine is affordable and accessible to everyone, no exceptions.
