Her bravery was met with vicious hostility, attacks by the conservative
media, patronizing incredulity from Republican senators, and a torrent of
death threats against her and her family that forced them out of their
home for their own safety.^2

Senate Republicans and President Trump may have succeeded with rushing

exonerated.
