Hi there -
Long before the COVID-19 pandemic took hold in the United
States, millions of Americans were struggling to put food on the
table, to afford rent or healthcare, to simply stay afloat in our
economy.
Americans have to hold down two or three jobs to make ends meet
- the minimum wage simply is not enough to cover today's average
living expenses.
That's why the Biden administration proposed a $15 hourly
minimum wage as part of their COVID-19 stimulus package.
The federal minimum wage hasn't gone up in more than a decade
despite the rising cost of living in our country. And with more
and more Americans struggling to make ends meet as we climb out
of the pandemic and related economic crisis, a badly-needed boost
to American paychecks is just common sense.
So, we're asking you to join the fight to raise
the minimum wage so that all Americans can thrive, not just
survive. Will you sign in support of a $15 hourly minimum wage?

The workers we have considered "essential" during the pandemic -
grocery stockers, delivery drivers, restaurant workers, and more
- took on enormous risk so the rest of us could access what we
need to keep our lives on track, like food and packages.
It's not enough to just call these workers "heroes." It's time
to put our money where our mouth is and support American workers
with a fair minimum wage.
If we are going to build back our economy better, we need an
all-hands-on-deck, multifaceted approach. And that starts with
fair wages for American workers now - and long after we've
stamped out COVID-19.
Will you show your support for a $15 hourly minimum wage today
and sign your name on our petition?
