United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has named Mike his Special Envoy for Climate Ambition and Solutions, and the first-ever Global Ambassador for the Race to Zero and Race to Resilience campaigns.

In these roles, Mike will work with the international community to mobilize stronger and more ambitious climate action across the globe. We're reaching out to ask what climate and clean energy ambitions and solutions you'd like to see.

U.N. Secretary-General Appoints Mike Bloomberg as Special Envoy

"Fighting climate change is a global challenge that requires strong global collaboration. I'm honored to be returning as Special Envoy to the UN Secretary-General to help drive the fight forward and secure a greener, healthier future for generations to come," Mike said.

With President Biden in office and America rejoining the Paris Agreement, we have a path forward to leading once again in the fight against climate change. But we must work quickly, and together to respond to this urgent crisis.
