Washington, DC—The Institute for Women’s Policy Research has partnered with global beauty brand No7 to launch No7’s new Unstoppable Together movement aimed at getting women back to work through education, resources and tools.
The movement, which also partners with iconic women leaders — Arianna Huffington, Maria Shriver, Kate Walsh, Tamron Hall and more – is designed to raise awareness about the SHEcession, an economic downturn where job and income losses disproportionately affects women and to help jumpstart the shecovery.
Since the start of the Pandemic, more than 5 million women exited the workforce, as compared to 4.4 million jobs lost for men. The on-going pandemic, school closures and caretaking responsibilities continue to threaten women’s ability to re-enter the workforce and sustain employment

The Summit will feature workshops, coaching, and inspiring panels featuring women leaders to support women from across the country who have lost their jobs or reimagining what their work life will look like post-pandemic. The virtual event is free and open to the public.
