Dear NRDC Activist,
This is big: a federal court just gave us the green light for a lawsuit against Trump's EPA that aims to restrict toxic neonic pesticides that are killing bees and endangering wildlife.
Now the real courtroom battle begins. I am asking for your immediate help so that NRDC can go all out to fight and win this case in defense of America's embattled bees. Support our campaign — both in and out of court — with a gift today to stop these toxic bee-killing pesticides, protect our pollinators, and defend our environment on all fronts.
There's no time to lose. Last year saw the largest winter losses of pollinating honeybees on record. That's potentially disastrous because one out of three bites of food — including fruits, vegetables, and nuts — are pollinated by bees and other insects.
Neonic pesticides are a leading cause of the bee die-off crisis, and NRDC is amassing a groundswell of public pressure on agrichemical giant Bayer-Monsanto — the largest producer of these bee-killing poisons.
But we must also stop the Trump EPA from recklessly approving new neonics and force it to restrict the use of dozens of bee-killing neonic products already on the market. That's why our action in federal court is so crucially important, and why we need your support right away:
Before the October 4 deadline, help us escalate our all-out campaign to stop this toxic onslaught, save our struggling pollinators, and defend our environment on all fronts with a donation today.

Honeybees aren't the only critical pollinator experiencing a devastating population decline — this year brought bad news for struggling monarch butterflies too, as the number of western monarchs overwintering in California plunged… by a catastrophic 90 percent!
And recently, the United Nations issued bombshell assessments of our planet's vanishing biodiversity, warning of the risk of extinction faced by one million species due to human impact and of the grave danger of losing more pollinators.
This is a warning from nature itself, and we need only look at our pollinators as the harbingers of a grim future — unless we act now.
The vast majority of the world's most nutritious and delicious food crops like fruits, vegetables and nuts rely in part on pollination by bees and other insects and animals. If we do nothing, the damage to biodiversity — and our food supply — in our lifetimes may never be undone.
Please donate to help NRDC go to court to stop the eradication of our pollinators and the damage to our biodiversity.
Trump's anti-environmental agenda is putting the profits of Big Ag over the survival of critically important pollinators. But while this administration may not care about bees and butterflies, we do. And I know you do too.
NRDC is leading the charge to save bees and monarch butterflies from this chemical assault with hard-hitting legal action and public mobilization.
Support our fight to protect our pollinators in and out of the courtroom with a donation before the October 4th deadline.
Thanks in advance for your support. A world without bees or butterflies would be devastating to our environment. But together, we can turn the tide before it's too late.
Sincerely,
Lucas Rhoads
