Today, the House will vote to remove Rep. Marjory Taylor Greene from her committee assignments. This move stems from immense public outrage over Taylor Greene's current and former public statements trafficking in violence, antisemitism, and baseless conspiracies, promoting far-right nationalism. It is with this encouragement that armed insurrectionists stormed the capitol on January 6.

Last night, we heard that Taylor Greene received a standing ovation in a closed-door Republican meeting. These Republicans aren't simply cowards; they are dangerous enablers in violation of the oath they swore to uphold the Constitution. And, many of them come from rural districts.
It isn't enough to remove Taylor Greene from committee assignments. We must remove her and each of her co-conspirators from wielding power at the highest levels of government. Those who lack patriotism and the ability to operate in reality shouldn't be setting public policy.
