We thought we had seen the end of the GOP's destructive impact on our education when Betsy DeVos left office. But we have a new right-wing influence on our schools to worry about: Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
House Republicans assigned Greene to the House education committee this week, despite the fact that, as the Washington Post reports, she has “expressed support for conspiracy theories about school shootings being fake and/or staged by gun-control advocates trying to drum up support for their cause.”
This right-wing, QAnon lie-peddler shouldn't even be allowed in Congress, let alone on a committee where she'll influence our nation's schools. We're polling our supporters to take a stand. Please, tell us:
