John,
Today marks 85 years since the founding of the National Wildlife Federation in 1936. And while we’d love to stop and celebrate our birthday, we are too focused on the challenges ahead.
After a difficult 2020, we’re pledging to work even harder for wildlife this year, and meet the wildlife crisis head on. We’re also asking 8,500 friends of wildlife to join us. Will you pledge to stand up for wildlife this year?
We’ve accomplished a lot since that first meeting in 1936. But with ever-increasing threats to wildlife and the air, land, and waters we share, we need your help and your voice to continue to protect wildlife this year and for the next 85 years and beyond.
Join us today in celebration of an 85-year commitment to America’s wildlife. Please add your name and pledge to be a strong voice for wildlife this year.
We’re truly grateful for all of your support of our work to protect wildlife and the wild places we share with them. Here’s to another 85 years.
Thank you,
National Wildlife Federation Membership Team
P.S. This is a big week for us, and we need your help to expand our work for wildlife. To celebrate our 85th birthday, we have a goal of $85,000 — $1,000 for each year we’ve been around — by February 15. Please pitch in to help us keep the National Wildlife Federation strong for the next 85 years.
